I felt so excited when I was invited to attend the Fun and Friends Awards Ceremony. I
learned that there is no success without effort. You WILL get the rewards if you make the
effort to do something. I remember that, after completing my first Fun and Friends lesson,
I got 60%. However, after the encouragement and support of my teachers, I eventually got
90%. I was really excited. I am thankful to my school and to Fun and Friends for giving me
the opportunity to learn.

Throughout the year, I learned a lot of English. I could read, play and watch the videos to
learn English. These not only aroused my interest in learning, but also enriched my English.
I encountered many problems when I was doing the lessons. With the help and support of
my teachers, the problems were resolved. I am very happy that I won my award.

I like doing Fun and Friends because it helps me learn and improve my English. After doing
Fun and Friends, my listening skills are better and I have learnt many new words. My
favourite character is SpongeBob. He is so funny and he is very kind to his friends, Patrick
and Sandy. I like the Aquarium more than Space Farm. I have bought many fish and
lobsters.

I like Fun and Friends because it teaches me English in a fun and creative way. It is fun
because you get to play a game with the points that you can earn by doing lessons.
I also like the videos because of the interesting characters. A good feature of Fun and
Friends is that every lesson includes elements of English like spelling, grammar, punctuation
and tenses. When I earn rewards, it encourages me to do more lessons so I can get more
points.
What I like best about Fun and Friends is the Playground, where you can buy things with
your points, and the spelling part of the lesson. Overall, I think Fun and Friends is a good
and interesting programme.

Fun and Friends improves my English a lot. I especially like watching the cartoons and
playing in the Space Farm. I joined Fun and Friends when I was in Primary 3 and I think my
prepositions have improved a lot. The lessons may be hard at first, but it gets better after
I re-do them. I thank Fun and Friends so much, it is such fun! I will recommend it to my
friends and I hope they will improve their English and have fun too.

Fun and Friends invited me to be one of this year‛s awards ceremony MCs, and I accepted.
I met a lot of new people, had a lot of fun, and learned plenty of things, such as: how to
address an audience, how to make something that might have been dull fun and lively, and
how to speak so that others understand me. I have been doing the Fun and Friends
exercises for 6 years now, and it has really helped me learn to be more perceptive and
observant.

I joined Fun and Friends about four years ago. I think the videos and vocabulary sections
are very good, but the quiz is the best! That‛s because in the quiz I can challenge myself
and also revise what I have been learning. When I finish the quiz, I can watch the videos or
play games as the reward.

There are different games and themes related to nature in the Fun and Friends programme.
I learnt a lot from the exercises. Meanwhile, Fun and Friends matches my school
curriculum. The exercises in Fun and Friends include Listening, Grammar and Reading, and
these exercises are also found in the exam. So, Fun and Friends helps me to study and to
keep my English at a good level for the exam. I can play and learn when I am doing Fun and
Friends and I enjoy it.

I was very honoured to be awarded a prize in the 2015–2016 programme of Fun and Friends.
Fun and Friends helped me to improve many aspects of my reading and writing skills,
including spelling, listening, speaking and grammar. The many attractive motivators, such as
the entertaining videos (e.g. SpongeBob, iCarly, etc.), fabulous monthly awards (some cute
Fun and Friends key chains) , and the fun Playground area (the games zone in Fun and
Friends) made the learning process really fun. Overall, Fun and Friends is an awesome
learning experience. No wonder it is called Fun and Friends!

I am Jedidiah Tam from Sacred Heart Canossian School (private section). I have been
playing Fun and Friends for six years, since Primary 1. I like playing Fun and Friends very
much. It helped me improve my English. Before I used Fun and Friends, I was just a
beginner in English. But after I joined the programme, I kept doing their interactive
exercises and my parents and teachers told me that my improvement in English was ongoing!
As a bonus, I have won the Champion prize five times in the six years since I joined Fun and
Friends!

I have participated in Fun and Friends for five years. It provides me with an online platform
to learn and practise English in an attractive and fun way. Therefore, I take the initiative
to complete the exercises regularly. Sometimes I like my dad to watch the videos with me
and to assist me with some challenging exercises and difficult words. I really like the
story-based videos like iCarly, as well as being able to earn the bonus points to play Space
Farm and Aquarium. My listening and reading skills are improving. I will continue with Fun
and Friends next year.

Hello my friends, my name is Christie WOO. I am a Sacred Heartist. I joined Fun and
Friends 3 years ago. I really enjoy learning English through Fun and Friends because the
exercises are challenging, the characters are cute and the games are interesting. I also
enjoy buying the sea creatures for my Aquarium with the scores earned. Sometimes my
father and I watch the cartoons together. I guess he likes watching them more than I do!
There is no doubt that I am going to join this programme again. Thanks Fun and Friends!

I joined Fun and Friends three years ago. This year, I was one of the MCs and I won an
award for being fourth. I think Fun and Friends is good for us because it helps us to learn
English in a fun way. Everyone said I have made a lot of improvements in my English since I
joined Fun and Friends. Also, I like the videos because they are fun. I think if there were
more levels for us, it would be even better.

I am Shirley Deng from Diocesan Girls' Junior School. I have been doing Fun and Friends
for a year. The online Fun and Friends practice is very flexible because it is not compulsory
for me to do it every day. Instead, I can do it in my free time. I also benefit from doing Fun
and Friends because I can watch videos and play games such as Word Search while learning
at the same time.
Fun and Friends helped me to improve my grammar, listening and comprehension skills, so I
got better results in my tests and exams.

I joined Fun and Friends three years ago. There are many fun animated songs, videos and
games in Fun and Friends. I find them interesting and have learned a lot of new things.
My favourite cartoon characters are the Wonder Pets. They travel around the world
helping to rescue animals in need. Their adventures teach me about teamwork, sharing and
helping others. I am very pleased about learning English in a fun and comfortable way. For
the coming September, let‛s continue our learning journey!

I really like Fun and Friends because I can learn English and have fun at the same time. I
have won three trophies so far from Fun and Friends. Some people may think it‛s difficult
to win a prize, but it‛s not. You can re-do the exercises, except for the assessments. I love
all the characters, like Nat, Charlie, Mr Peacock, etc. But I like Jimmy the most. He is so
adorable! I will continue to take part in Fun and Friends in the coming year. Fun and Friends
is one of my favourite learning games. I will try hard to get a prize again next year.

Hi, my name is Toby. I'm a Grade 5 student at SSCPS and started using Fun and Friends
when I was in Grade 1. My favourite Fun and Friends character is Nat the Monkey as our
personality and behaviour are very similar, and both of us have the same big ears! I also love
watching Fun and Friends videos, especially those about adventure and SpongeBob.
It gives me lots of ideas for writing my own stories. I log on to my Fun and Friends account
every day to do exercises and watch videos, and it helps me to improve my grammar,
vocabulary and writing skills. It's really a good learning experience for kids.

My name is Queena, the Champion of Stage 6. During the courses I learned a lot of
grammar, sentences structures, vocabulary and stories through Fun and Friends.
I liked ‘Making Pancakes‛ the most because I enjoy eating different toppings on my
pancakes! After reading that story it motivated me to make a pancake by myself and I
followed the recipe and steps from the story. Furthermore, I also enjoyed ‘Fun Days at
School‛. I liked the character of Doctor because he helped the patient's teeth and relieved
them of their pain. All the characters in the video were cute and funny! I believe that I can
get the highest score next time in the test. I love Fun and Friends and I will share the
joyful memories with my friends.

I am honoured to be awarded the Pupil of the Year. I have learned English in a very
different way under the Fun n‛ Friends programme, compared with traditional classroom
learning. I found it very interesting as we use our favourite Nickelodeon cartoons to learn
English interactively. It has encouraged me to read more story books too. It would be even
more attractive if the Challenges Award Programme offered more lovely characters and
other decorative accessories. Students would then be even more motivated to achieve
higher scores, earn more points and win their favourite characters.
One word: MAGICAL.
